In this condition Sri Maitri Integrated Rehabilitation Centre for Addicts Bellary come forward and serving the society in form of many social services and the addiction free society is the most important is one amount them And I wish the Sri Maitri Integrated Rehabilitation Centre for Addicts Ballari, to service the society and continue their valuable contribution in a most effective way and spared its rays all over the country.

One addicted person will spoil not only himself but also spoil the entire society by influencing others hence when we turn him from addition to a responsible person that will bring him respect to him in the society, and that grate activity is being done by Sri Maitri Integrated Rehabilitation Centre for Addicts Ballari. Because of this institution lot many people have changed their lives and become good citizens of our nation. A visit from women and child development officer Bellary on 27/05/2011
On 27/05/2011 women and children development officer Bellary had visited to Sri Maitri Integrated Rehabilitation Centre for Addicts Ballari and had a brief discussion and collected all the relevant information from the director Mr C H Kumaraswamy about the activities held by the association, we have also met word bays who are taking care of the patients and premises in the very good manner
On our visit we have noticed that, the building having the four floors and there were 22 patients in the association, and we have also checked visiting frequency of medical officer and the verification of activities conducted by them staff attendance.
We have collected the patient opinion about the activities and the facilities provided to them by the association. As per the patient’s opinion, Sri Maitri Integrated Rehabilitation Centre for Addicts Ballari is having the complete schedule of the day starting from Goga, Dhyana, Breakfast Lunch and Dinner and involving each and every one in the discussion about the value of human life and its importance in order to bring confidence in their life. Few more opinions we have collected from the patients who were already taken treatment here and started their new lives, we have found that, there is a remarkable change in them in terms of physical and moral strength when compare to their present life when compare the their past.
Hence I feel that, the association is doing a great contribution to the society in changing the addicted person’s life in to a responsible citizen of our nation

I’m Haleppa a native of Halavandi village of Koppal Dist. as of now I am about 45 years aged, when I was 30 years of age I got addicted to alcohol, due to alcohol addiction I was staying away from my parents and family, my wife left me and she was staying at her father’s home. Even after several repetitive attempts to bring her back she refused to come, because of such frustration I increased my alcohol consumption.
During our village Jathra fest I met a teacher named Mr.Dyamanna. after listening to my story he grieved. He advised me ‘if I want to find a change in my life I had to join Sri Maitri Integrated Rehabilitation Centre For Addicts Ballari’. Initially I had a fear, once I got to know that Mr. Dhyamanna himself has received treatment from the centre I got confidence and I admitted to the centre. Due to the cooperation of all the staff during my treatment days, in first fifteen days the staff had called my wife and brought her here. I was surprised and felt so happy to see my wife, who was not able to turn up even after my several attempts. After the treatment, I am staying with my parents and family and leading happy life. I thank all the staff those who are reason behind my happiness.

I am C.Manohar a native of Ballari’s Bandihatti, as of now I’m 31 years old and I’m ….graduate. My father was a retired employee. I have three sisters, after my graduation I tried a lot to get a job but I could not succeed to get a job, hence I started my own job(self-employment) from my father’s pension money, I started earning huge amount as a consequence of increased income friends companionship also increased. After a week of work I used to go outstation for weekend parties. Day by day my gradually addition to alcohol has significantly increased, as a consequence of it I forgot my job. Further, I completely ignored my parents advise also. As a passage of time I left my job and started to take alcohol for 24 hours of a day.
One day I was drunk and slept my father got heart attack. My father was crying with chest pain, my mother, and three sisters were also crying, and looking forward for helping hand. But, as I heavily drunk and not able to do anything hence my father died there itself. Next morning my mother and sister were crying and cursing me. By this I felt very sad, I sought admission to Sri Maitri Integrated Rehabilitation Centre for Addicts, Ballari without informing my mother and sisters. The staff of Sri Maitri Integrated Rehabilitation Centre For Addicts, Ballari called my home and informed them, they felt very happy and agreed for my admission. From the support of the staff and with strong determination from past 5 years I’m leading alcohol-free life. I’m thankful to the staff of Shree Mysthri De-addiction and rehabilitation centre for this unprecedented change.
