This Organization is a Non Government and non profitable organization rendering service to all people who are in need.
This centre is situated in a centre place of the Ballari city and activities are being conducted in a spacious independent building which is a calm atmosphere.
Maitri IRCA is also conducting mass awareness programmers in Ballari district. Maitri IRCA is treating Hundreds of Outpatients and Hundreds of Inpatients every year and also after-care-follow up is taken on the other hand, the centre is conducting individual counselling, family counselling, group counselling, pre counselling, post counselling and also yoga, meditation, occupational therapy, relapse prevention therapy, recreation activities & re – educative lectures reflections etc.,
Ballari is offering outdoor and indoor treatment to the drug addicts and alcoholic dependents after pre – counselling. The centre is having infrastructures and sufficient for accommodation of 15 patients. Our Organization has qualified and trained staff, Medical Officer, Psychiatrist, Physician, counsellors, social workers, yoga therapists, Peer Educator, Nurses, ward boys, Ayas and Chowkidars.
The primary objective of the Sri Maitri Integrated Rehabilitation Centre for Addicts Ballari is the total rehabilitation of the addict after having been treated for drug dependence. To facilitate the self-sustainability of the addict/dependent family members, an Sri Maitri Integrated Rehabilitation Centre for Addicts Ballari would avail of the services available through various schemes/programmes of the Govt/State through effective networking.
Rehabilitation activities may include relevant vocational training utilising local resources. It would also involve identification and networking with government recognized vocational centres to refer recovering/recovered addicts for training. The Centre would also maintain a network directory of specialized services.
